Terms of Service

Last updated: May 20, 2026

By using Storylink you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short.

You may use the service to schedule and publish Instagram Stories, Posts, and Reels from accounts you own or are authorized to manage, and to optionally cross-post them to linked Facebook Pages. You may also use the Ads feature to promote scheduled content where it is available to your account. You are responsible for the content you upload, generate, and publish.

Phone verification — by completing the optional phone-verification step you consent to receive a verification SMS from our SMS provider. We use the number for verification and abuse prevention only and do not share it with advertisers or other third parties.

Ads — The Ads feature is a paid feature available to allowlisted accounts during beta. By creating an ad you authorize Storylink to instruct Meta to spend from your linked ad account up to the budget you set. Spend is final once Meta delivers impressions; refunds follow Meta's ad-spend policy and Storylink does not issue refunds for delivered ads.

Storage allowance

Each plan includes a storage allowance for media you upload to Storylink: 1 GB on Free, 15 GB on Pro, and 150 GB on Business. We may adjust allowances with at least 30 days' written notice. Background system files (thumbnails, transcoded versions for publishing) do not count against your allowance.

Storage packs

Pro and Business subscribers may purchase one-time storage packs (+10 GB, +50 GB, +100 GB) to extend their allowance. Pack storage is permanent — it does not expire when you cancel your subscription. Free plan users are not eligible to purchase storage packs; the only way to add storage on Free is to upgrade to Pro. Pack purchases are non-refundable except at Storylink's discretion via support.

Customer import — when you upload customer data you warrant that you have a lawful basis (such as consent or legitimate interest under applicable privacy laws) to process it. You can delete an upload at any time. Customer data leaves Storylink only when you publish content to Meta or through the channels you configure.

Uploaded content — you keep ownership of everything you upload (images, video, audio, captions, customer data). You represent and warrant that you own all rights to that content, or have all permissions, licenses, and clearances needed to use it on Instagram, Facebook, and within our service — including any music, voice recordings, brand assets, or third-party material it contains. You agree to indemnify Storylink against any third-party claim arising from content you upload, generate, or publish through the service.

Content retention

Storylink does not automatically delete content you upload. Your media remains accessible for the life of your account regardless of subscription status or billing state. Content removal happens only when you delete an item yourself, archive a gallery item, or request full account deletion.

Copyright — we respect copyright and respond to valid takedown notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). See our copyright policy at https://storylink.pro/legal/copyright for how to send a notice and how we handle them. Accounts that receive repeated valid takedown notices will be suspended or terminated.

Multi-account — you may connect up to 5 Instagram accounts per workspace. Disconnecting an account immediately deletes its access token. Scheduled content tied to a disconnected account becomes orphaned (we do not delete it) — you can re-connect within 30 days to restore publish-ability or delete the orphaned items manually.

Instagram and Facebook are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. We are not affiliated with Meta. Meta's Terms of Use apply to your account and content.

The AI Generate feature sends your prompt to Vercel AI Gateway and downstream image-generation providers (currently Black Forest Labs Flux). You retain ownership of the images you generate, subject to those providers' terms. You must not request content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, or violates Meta's Terms of Use. Generation is rate-limited (currently 20 images per user per 24 hours during beta); we may adjust the limit or temporarily disable AI features without notice.

The Insights Assistant (Business plan only) is a read-only chat that helps you understand your published content's performance. It has no ability to publish, schedule, modify, or delete anything in your account or on Instagram/Facebook — it can only read and summarize what already exists. You retain ownership of the conversations you create. The assistant relies on a third-party large-language-model provider (Anthropic, via the Vercel AI Gateway); responses are generated probabilistically and may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect — verify any business decision against the underlying numbers shown by the tool. Usage is rate-limited (currently 20 runs per company per UTC day) and we may adjust the limit or temporarily disable the assistant without notice.

API access — Business-plan customers may create API keys on /developers to access their account programmatically via our REST API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. You are responsible for actions taken under any key you create, just as you are for actions taken through the web UI. Keep keys secret, do not share them across organizations, and rotate or revoke them promptly if you suspect compromise. The same content responsibilities, AI rate-limits, and Meta's Terms of Use apply to anything published via the API; requests are rate-limited and we may revoke keys that violate these terms. We log per-request metadata (timestamp, endpoint, status, latency, IP, user agent) for 30 days so you can monitor your own usage on /developers and detect compromise.

The service is provided as-is during beta. We make no warranties about uptime, scheduling accuracy, AI-generation quality, or successful publishing. Use at your own risk.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate Meta's Terms of Use, post illegal content, abuse the AI feature, or attempt to misuse the service.

We may update these terms; significant changes will be announced with an in-app banner.
